Penny's first canoe trip

Today we went down the river in the canoes to show Penny all the fun stuff to see along the river.

I think she was pretty impressed, don't you?

We invited our neighbors along.

She likes the Junior Ranger hat, anyway.    Hmm.  Well, maybe.

Jackie had to do all the work.  Again.

 When we got back I saw this beautiful butterfly as I was walking down to get the car at the boat launch.  Since then I have seen several of the same kind.  Anyone know what kind it is??
